Or: How I’ve Learned to Just Eat Pizza
Thanksgiving has rolled around again, like it does every fourth Thursday in November. Unless you’re in Canada, Liberia, some of the Caribbean Islands, or some heathen part of the world who doesn’t have an annual holiday centered around food.
Well, I guess it’s not all about the food. It’s about giving thanks. It’s about family and friends and recognizing what a wonderful world it really is.
But it’s about food too. About this time last year, I wrote a little post about some of the foods that have been memorable in the many, many video games that I’ve played throughout the years. Give it a read.
This year, I wanted to keep it simple and let a little craft from my 6 year old son do the heavy lifting.

roast a turkey,
mash potatoes,
cream the corn,
bake the pies,
set the table,
clear the table,
when they could just have pizza!

I’m thankful for you, oh reader mine, for taking the time out of your busy days to stop in and hang on every word I type. It’s crazy that I’ve had this thing going for a full year now. In that time I’ve written less than 1 post per month, and gained just a little more than 1 follower per month. Just as I planned… taking over the internet, 17 followers at a time.
Seriously though, have a happy Thanksgiving and make sure to leave room for pie!
(but not cake, because….the cake is a lie!)
